Schramm also offers no interest monthly payment plans and accepts all major credit cards.
Chief Security Officers, LLC (CSO) is a security, audit, and regulatory compliance company.  CSO provides support to Schramm in performing their SAS 70 audits.   CSO’s principals have been in the IT industry for over 25 years.   CSO provided their services in over 35 of the 50 states in 2007.   All of CSO’s employees have Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), and Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) certifications.  More information on CSO can be found at www.chiefsecurityofficers.com. You get the benefit of an experienced CPA firm and a nationally recognized security firm in performing your SAS 70 services.
We believe that we offer a unique service and we want the opportunity to show you what we mean.  35% of the companies that contact Schramm and participate in our 45 minute conference call become customers.  We don’t require you to fill out a lengthy questionnaire to get a quote.  Because of our experience we are able to gather all of the information needed to quote your SAS audit during our 45 minute conference call.

One of the things we are most proud of is our customer satisfaction.  Over 99% of our customers have elected to become repeat customers.

We price all of our projects so they include all expenses.   This allows you to easily compare our services and prices against any of our competitors.   We have great competitors but we think you will find that Schramm offers unprecedented value in our industry.

What requirements does Sarbanes Oxley have around the need for SAS 70 audits?

The PCAOB is now responsible for finalizing the attestation guidance that practitioners (i.e., auditors) must follow when examining management's assertion on the effectiveness of controls over financial reporting. In May 2007, the PCAOB released the official auditing standard ("Auditing Standard No. 5") entitled "An Audit of Internal Control over Financial Reporting in Conjunction with an Audit of Financial Statements". Appendix B of the rule contains information on service organizations and confirms that a SAS 70 service auditor's report is an acceptable format to allow management to assess the operating effectiveness of controls at the service organization.

Why do I need a SAS 70 audit?

Most of our customers need an audit in order to fulfill a requirement by one of their customers. Many companies will not contract with you unless you have a SAS 70 audit. Many of our customers have found that having a SAS 70 audit performed provides them with a competitive advantage. Having a SAS 70 audit provides an independent verification that you have a stable control environment.

What geographic areas do you serve?

We can provide our services anywhere in the world. If you are providing services to U.S. companies from your foreign offices we may have to visit those sites. It depends on whether the controls you have selected are performed at your foreign offices.

What is the difference between a Type I and Type II report?

A Type I report is a point in time audit that tests the design effectiveness of your controls. A Type II audit is performed over a minimum time period of six months and it tests the operational effectiveness of your controls. Most of our customers need a Type II audit performed. We usually start with an assessment of your control environment and provide recommendations on what changes you need to make before we start the Type I audit. Once the Type I audit has been completed we start working on your Type II audit. The Type II audit requires us to test your controls over a minimum period of six months. We schedule several visits during the required six month period and will also make one or two unannounced visits to perform testing.
